NICT Computer Education, Bangalore conducted a Certification Course - CorelDRAW for the first year BCA students from 7 Jan’19 to 17 Jan’19 from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the DSBA Computer lab.
Mr. Goutham Pydiparthi, the instructor, is a Graphic Design and Multimedia Trainer at NICT Computer Education-Bangalore since January 2011. A BSc graduate from Osmania University, Hyderabad, he has an Advanced Diploma in Multimedia and Animation from NICET, Hyderabad. His career achievements include a strong experience in graphic design for web and print media, multimedia, animation, digital arts and visual communication. Mr. Pydiparthi has a profound knowledge in the fields of Digital Marketing & Content Marketing and software programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Corel Graphic Suite, 3D and CAD. He also has an extended ability to produce a wide variety of graphic products including newsletters, business cards, letter heads as well as different training materials. His interests & activities currently include: Photography, Football & Chess.
CorelDRAW is a vector based graphic suit, which is developed by Corel Corporation. CorelDRAW can help users develop Banners, Business cards, Brochure, Certificates, Envelopes, Invoices, Memo and many more.
An introduction on CorelDRAW graphic suit was given to us in the first session.
The subsequent session included opening the CorelDraw form, the start menu, windows explorer or desktop icon. In the subsequent sessions, theoretical aspects of Components like Standard Toolbar, Property Bar, Tool Box, Rulers, Color Palette, Status Bar, Page Navigator, Dockers Tabs, Interactive Fill, Interactive Tool, Eyedropper Tool and Outline Tool was explained.
It was followed by theoretical sessions on Rectangle tool, Ellipse Tool, Pen Tool, Polygon Tool, Interactive blend tool, Interactive Contour Tool, Interactive Extrude tool, Interactive Drop Shadow Tool, Interactive Transparency Tool, Interactive Fill Tool, Interactive Mesh Fill Tool, Text tool, Eyedropper Tool, Paint Bucket Tool and Fill Tool.
In the successive sessions, we were practically taught to use Rectangle tool, Ellipse tool, Pen tool, Text tool, Fill tool, Polygon Tool, etc. so that we are in a position to draw different shapes and designs.
In the next session, we were taught to make business card, certificates, etc. using CorelDRAW graphic suit.
On the last day, an examination was conducted to conclude the certification process.
The training was just amazing and the concepts were taught with ease, which helped us all to get the knowledge of CorelDRAW very easily. It will definitely go a long way not only for me but also for my colleagues in our professional life and we are very grateful and proud to be part of this certification course.
