The facilitator was Ms Latha Nahar, a freelance Trainer who believes that skill development is the only KEY to SUCCESS. The training began with ice breaker session/group activities, all intended to improve participants’ public speaking skills and knowledge for future campus placements. In the noon there were interview and presentation sessions. Once again, the activities conducted ensured that the participants dived in “head first’’ with short presentations of various kinds-explanatory, informative and persuasive. The students realized that dynamic introductions and powerful closing was required for the presentation to be effective and interesting.

After the student presentations, Ms Latha gave instant feedback and helpful recommendations which helped the students identify the essential components of presentation. She gave them tips on creating eye-grabbing introductions and implementing techniques for right body language, develop strategies for handling situations and pointed out the benefits and pitfalls.

The training helped students overcome their fear, transformed their anxiety into enthusiasm; besides, they gained confidence in their presentation skills.

The training session was educative, fun, exciting and easy-going.
