Report on Parent Teacher Association

Communication between parent and faculty is imperative to ensure student success in the classroom. In order for the institution to function effectively for the student’s welfare, it is important for both teachers and parents to come together often.

 At DSBA, after the First Internal Examination, PTA-One to one interaction between class coordinator and parents is held. In the current semester, it was held on 13^th September 2019 between 1 pm and 4:30 pm.

 A prior notice was sent to the parents informing them about the same. During the meeting, the class coordinator shared the student’s academic details with the parents that included the previous semester’s Bangalore University results, internal examination marks, attendance status, discipline, classroom behaviour, participation in curricular and extracurricular activities. Tips, suggestions and advice were also shared by the faculty to the parents of students identified as low performers.

Parents also filled in the online feedback form about their impression of faculty, additional courses offered at the institution, skill development and extension activities and opportunities provided to their wards. 

The institution leaves no stone unturned always and encourages more and more parents to be part of the association!
