Bangalore University Badminton Tournament

Ms Sushma K R from III Semester BCom B section and Ms Sharon Kamala P from I Semester BCA participated in the Bangalore University Intercollegiate Badminton tournament against Surana College, South End and secured a semi-finalist place at GFGC Chennapatna.About 18 colleges participated in the tournament. Both the students played their best game, gave a tough fight and reckoned that DSBA team is strong contenders in the future.

Ms Sushma K R also participated in the Bangalore University Badminton Team selection match but unfortunately couldn’t make it to the final selections!

Bangalore University Volleyball Team Selection

Bangalore University Volleyball Team selection took place on 27^th September 2019 at Jnana Bharathi Campus. Students from 25 colleges affiliated to Bangalore University participated in the selection process.

The first round was a fitness round. 30 students successfully made it to the second round and Ms Sharon Kamala P from I Semester BCA was one among them and was third in position!

The second round was volleyball game trial. In this round, student’s techniques, skills and playing abilities were tested and evaluated. Ms Sharon qualified in the final twelve and finished in the eighth position.

Kudos to Ms Sharon Kamala P as she is selected for the Bangalore University Volleyball team!
