Aptitude Training Certification Program for III Year Students

Placements for final year students are in the near future. In fact, most of the students have their career paths charted much before graduation .To assist the final year UG students in making a transformation, and in keeping their placements in mind, Seventh Sense Talent Solutions conducted 30- hour Certification Program for final year BCom, BBA and BCA students from 20 Sept 2019 to 18 Oct 2019 between 9:30 am to 4:30 pm on all Fridays at Room G-08, G-05 and G-04 respectively.

The program covered all the essential skills required to make the students industry ready & become successful in their careers. The refresher material provided aids in continuous implementation of the actual training, and carries forward the essential concepts. Apart from regular class work and material, students also got to take home material in the form of concepts refresher, exercises and full mock tests for a complete training and transformative experience.

The certification program was designed and delivered by people with impressive academic and work experience credentials who visited the campus for training.

• Ms Megha G R, an MBA works as HR -Learning & Development at Seventh Sense People Development Solutions and has over five years of experience. Her area of training expertise is Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning.
• Yogesh is working as a Quantitative Aptitude Trainer with Seventh Sense People Development Solutions Pvt.Ltd and has four years of experience.
• Ms Swati Kanthraj, a B.Tech has five years of experience and working as Verbal and Reasoning Trainer with Seventh Sense People Development Solutions Pvt Ltd.
• Ms Sneha Mirpuri is working as a Communication and Soft skills Trainer with Seventh Sense People Development Solutions Pvt Ltd and has seven years of experience.
• Nischal has three years of experience and is working as a Verbal Aptitude and Soft Skills Trainer with Seventh Sense People Development Solutions Pvt Ltd.
• Ms Krishna Bai works as a Quantitative Aptitude Trainer with Seventh Sense People Development Solutions Pvt Ltd and has an experience of seven years.
• Dhruv Rao is working as a Logical Reasoning Trainer with Seventh Sense People Development Solutions Pvt Ltd and has four years of experience.
• Ms Bindhu is working as a Verbal and Soft skills Trainer with Seventh Sense People Development Solutions Pvt Ltd and has three years of experience.
• Ms Jyothsna D’souza, a B.Tech has over two years of experience and is working as Verbal and Reasoning Trainer with Seventh Sense People Development Solutions Pvt Ltd.
• Ms Ahana Rai has over three years of experience and is working as a Quantitative Aptitude, Soft Skills and Reasoning Trainer with Seventh Sense People Development Solutions Pvt Ltd

 

The trainers  conducted a diagnostic assessment at the beginning of the training program for all batches of students’ .This achieved two purposes: allowed them to group students according to their skills and learning pace and enable them to show the improvements in each student through a post training assessment.

Trains, Time and Work, Profit and Loss, Ages, Permutation and Combination, Chain Rule, Allegations, Time and Distance, Simple Interest, Partnership, Surds and Indices, Pipes and Cisterns, Logarithms, Probability, Percentages and Ratio and Proportion   ·         The class work [concepts + exercises]  Algebra, Arithmetic, Geometry, Puzzles, Graphs, Data Interpretation ·         Take home material included –Formulae sheet, Mathematical shortcuts and additional exercises    Verbal Aptitude – English   Spotting Errors, Antonyms, Synonyms, Spellings, Ordering of Sentences, Sentence Correction, Closet Test, Paragraph writing, Reading Comprehension, One Word Substitutes, Idioms and Phrases, Change of Voice, Change of Speech, Analogies   ·         The class work[concepts + exercises]             Vocabulary, Basic Grammar, Advanced Grammar, verbal ability, reading               comprehension ·         Take home material included-Select Word Lists, Rules of Basic Grammar, Rules of Advanced Grammar, Sample Reading Passages, Additional Exercises   Logical Reasoning Aptitude    Reasoning , Seating Arrangements, Coding and Decoding, Blood Relations, Analytical Puzzles, Number Series, Letter Series and Directions   ·         The class work [concepts + exercises]             Concepts, Pictorial shortcuts, exposure to examination oriented questions ·         Take home material included-Formulae sheet, additional exercises   The program modules also included :   ·         Communication Enhancement Business English ·         Resume workshops ·         Group Discussions ·         Soft skills brilliance The post program assessment which quantified the improvement in the students enabled the college to objectively evaluate the students’ performance.
