Program Objective: To help students gain knowledge and enhance their self-efficacy in using PowerPoint
Learning Outcome: Students were able to: define aspects of PowerPoint presentations, explain the benefits of PowerPoint presentations and create a PowerPoint presentation
Prof. Punya.V is presently working in DSBA. She has done MCA from SIT, Tumkur. She has 6 years of teaching experience in undergraduate and postgraduate departments. Prof Punya has guided many students in computer projects and has presented papers in various National conferences, International journals and attended many FDP/workshops.
Prof Punya started the session with ‘before PowerPoint’ -the history of presentations, the improbable origins of PowerPoint, the evolution, brief history of PowerPoint, what is PowerPoint and the amazing facts about the topic. She continued the session by stating the features of MS PowerPoint and the uses of PowerPoint.
In her interactive session she taught the students to add pictures and clips and objects; the way one includes charts and videos. In the noon, she shared some tips for making powerful and effective presentation and taught techniques for making creative college presentations.
