72ndREPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION
India celebrates Republic Day annually on 26th January, and this year the country will celebrate its 72nd Republic Day to mark the day India became a sovereign republic .The Indian Republic Day is celebrated all across India with lots of patriotism and fervour. At Rajpath, in Delhi, magnificent parades by regiments of the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, police, and paramilitary forces are witnessed.
To celebrate this auspicious day, we the cadets of DSBA had also organized various events in our campus.
First we had the piloting group escort the chief guest to the flag hoisting area . The chief guest for the day were

Dr. NANDINI Vice principal-DSATM,
Dr. K. N VEENA - DEAN DSBA,
Lt. M.G NAGARAJU , 50 CC cadets, PI staff vinod, lance nayak Ravi, Many teaching & non teaching staffs also witnessed the event. At 8:30 the flag was hoisted by the chief guests which was immediately followed by National anthem. The chief guest and other dignitaries spoke on the importance and history of the republic day celebration.
We also had rank pipping ceremony of the senior cadets .The new ranks which were designated were as follows
Rishi R Patel -Senior Under Officer(SUO)
Mohasin Taj k.s - Junior under officer(JUO)
Aruna J - Junior under officer(JUO)
Chirag shetty k -Junior under officer(JUO)
Pooja v Jain - Company sergeant major(CSM)
This was followed by the contingent drill. Once the drill was over there was certificate distribution where all the B certificate holders were given with their prestigious” B” certificate by the chief guest and the other dignitaries. The event concluded with Ncc song and national anthem. The overall event was a great success.
