WEBINAR ON AWARENESS ON STOCK MARKET
Finance Club of Dayananda Sagar Business Academy had organized an Awareness program on Stock Market for the classes Second year BBA and BCOM students on 26th July 2021. The webinar was conducted on Zoom platform from 10:30 am to 12: 00 pm .
Prof . Hemavathi .S the Coordinator of Finance Club , DSBA begun the Webinar by welcoming the gathering and introducing the Resource person of the day Dr.K Prabhakaran, Em-paneled Resource Person – SEBI ,NCFE& NCDEX
Dr. K.Prabhakaran happens to have more than 16 years of teaching experience in handling financial subjects and in higher educational multicultural settings. He has been an active researcher and learner and has been regularly involved in academic activities as reviewer, editor , and supervisor. He received NSE Certified Market Professional and SEBI Certified Financial Education Resource Person.
Dr. Prabhakaran begun the orientation by giving introduction to Finance and Financial market and explained financial markets in detail . He started asking questions about saves and investors and also explained the activities of financial markets .
The resource person also spoke about different aspects like basics of stock market, basics of mutual funds and difference Primary and secondary market. He also provided information on responsibilities and safety usage of financial securities in stock market .
The resource of the day also mentioned importance of grievance redressal , dos and donots in money market and also stressed on financial planning , investment plans and strategies that an investors has to follow while investing money into stock market .
The session also highlighted the important aspects of Financial goal setting, financial stages , financial planning, and also it focused on safe investing . The session was very informative with valuable inputs useful for both the students as well as the faculties.
