On 9th October, the Literary Club of Dayananda Sagar Business Academy organized an amazing session for the commemoration of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. The session commenced at 1 PM in the library with the lightening of the lamp. The members of the Literary club and the faculty of DSBA presided this session. Following the lamp lightening ceremony, Uzma and Pratiksha sang a melodious patriotic song as an introduction to the session. Later, Poojitha from BCOM 2nd year gave an extraordinary speech on the life of Mahatma Gandhi in Kannada. Manoj from BCA 3rd year gave an insipiring speech on the journey of Lal Bahadur Shastri in English. And with that the offline session ended moving on to the online webinar for the day.
In the Zoom platform, Dr. B M Hiremath, Assistant Professor, K.L.E.S Nijalingappa College, gave an inspiring and patriotic speech on the lives of the two great personalities, Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. He preached their principles and values, and how they inspired the countrymen. The respected Principal ma’am gave the vote of thanks for the day. With this, we thank the Literary Club for organizing such an inspiring session for the students and faculty of DSBA.
