On  2 November 2021, the Urban Reader- literary club organized a fun and joyful event on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava. The event was presided by the respected principal and the coordinators of the club. The event began with the melodious Naada Geethe by our talented choir group. Following the song, we had another group song "Nithyotsava". Our respected Principal ma'am gave a brief speech about the importance of language by cultivating the habit of reading Kannada articles and newspapers. She emphasized on the fact that Kannada language received 8 Jnanapita Prashasthi. Also, she talked about her experience studying in a Kannada medium school.

 

Later, the events were organised for the day. The first event, Mathad Mathad Kannada, was a huge success with participants speaking for 90 seconds on a topic that they picked. The participants did a great job and talked confidently. Simultaneously, we had poster making competition, where groups of students participated to make hand-made posters on Kannada Rajyotsava. Everyone  prepared posters uniquely and brilliantly with great creativity
