CIL program was conducted from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm for six days. Mr. Suresh Rathod, Banking and Financial Corporate Training Executive with 19 years of work experience in BFSI conducted the training program.

On the first day, (27th January 2020) the trainer started the session with the topic of confidence, levels of confidence, how to gain confidence, time management, stress management, how to deal with stress, types of stress, causes of stress, how to change one's mindset. The discussion continued with the topics like positive attitude and negative attitude. Then he explained SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, threats) analysis. Then he gave some time to the students to understand their Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats. The students were called randomly to share their opinions. Importance of working upon one's weakness was taught and how it impacts on the personality was made to understand.

On the second day, (28th January 2020), the trainer started the session with the topic of communication skills and why that's important. He explained about self-awareness and suggested us to take up a couple of quizzes to help us understand our personality. Later, there was a discussion on grooming and body language. He explained in detail how men and women should present themselves for an interview. He then moved to the topic of rejection and differentiated it from failure. He taught the participants how to accept rejections and the way to learn from such instances. The session concluded with the topic of training and how it differs from teaching; how to participate in training and the importance of being adaptive.

On the third day, (29th January 2020), the trainer started the session with the topic of corporate readiness. He explained values and their importance for a successful career, making the right choices and having clear priorities. Then he taught ownership and the importance of being responsible. Then he moved on to the topic of teamwork and why working in a team is important to survive in the corporate world. Further he explained about learning, upgrading one's skills, acquiring new ones, how to unlearn and relearn. He also gave us tips to learn effectively. Later, he explained about being adoptive and flexible. Then he spoke about the transition from a student to an employee, the 30-60-90 plan, the do's and don'ts of each period in detail. He ended the session by teaching the e-mail etiquettes.

On the fourth day, (30th January 2020), the trainer started the session with the topic of online image and the importance of building /showcasing an online image. Then he spoke about professional networking websites like LinkedIn. He explained the importance of these websites and how to use them to one's advantage. He explained how to write a resume, do's and don'ts, and how to keep it simple and effective. He gave a format of a preferable resume and showed a sample resume. Then he continued the session with the topic of interview skills. Then he taught how to introduce oneself to the interviewer and how to answer probable questions posed to job aspirants.

Then he spoke about group discussion and how to participate in the group discussion round. He enlightened the students about the rules to be followed and shared some examples of Group Discussion topics.

On the fifth day, (1st February 2020), the trainer grouped 8 to 10 students in a team and conducted a group discussion. Some topics given to the teams were as follows- Is school life better than college life? Is smartphone an addiction? Pollution problem in India, Joint family vs. Nuclear family, Is marriage celebrations a hype in India? Impact of western culture on Indian youth, Sexual discrimination still exists in India?

On the sixth day, (2nd February 2020), the trainer conducted mock interviews. The students followed the instructions given earlier and participated in the activity. The trainer gave feedback on the interview and pointed the areas on which participants had to improve upon. He also advised on becoming a better person.

The session concluded with the students feedback.
