SAGARA TARANGA 2022

On 28th and 29th of July 2022, Dayananda Sagar Business Academy hosted a state level inter collegiate management fest. There were more than 30 plus events, 50 plus colleges participated and over 4000 students took part. The event was taken over by DJ Arun Productions. Our few proud sponsors were Pai International, Vega City, Sangeetha, School Fe and many more. The celebrity guests for the event were Abhishek Ambreesh, Rahul Dit-o, Rakesh Adiga and Sharmila Mandre. The event witnessed one of the best rappers of kannada by a live musical performance by Rahul D-ito. There was a live musical performance by Rakesh Adiga on 29th July 2022, followed by a DJ Night by DJ Arun Productions. History was indeed created by Dayananda Sagar Business Academy.

Solo Dancing, there were 28 students from more than 20 colleges performed in a variety of dance forms, such as Bharatanatyam, western, hip-hop, and contemporary. Harsha, a student at JSS College, won this competition, and Sai Siddharth, a student at MS Ramaiah, finished in second place.

Solo Singing, the act of producing musical sounds with the voice and augments regular speech by the use of sustained tonality, rhythm, and a variety of vocal techniques. There were 26 participants from 22 different colleges, and all sang magnificently. Joshika from Surana College came in second, and the winner was Aditi from Christ University.

Stand Up Comedy, Stand-up has multiple genres and styles with their own formats, rules and target audience. The participants found this competition fun. 9 individuals took part. Tom from Jyothi Nivas won the competition, and Aryan from MS Ramaiah finished in second place.

Rap Battle Rap battles are rap performances between two or more artists that include boasting, verbal jabs, and wordplay. Live clashes frequently feature spontaneous freestyles or performances of battle rap. There were 6 participants, and Dmon from Surana College came in first. Professor D from Christ University came in second.

Nail Art A creative approach to paint, embellish, enhance, and decorate nails is with nail art. It is a form of art that may be applied to both toenails and fingernails. The nails were exquisitely created, and the competition was interesting. There were 6 individuals present. Varshini from Dayananda Sagar College of Arts, Science, and Commerce won the competition. Bhavyakutha from BMSLE College was the Runner.

Rangoli In the Indian subcontinent-based art form of rangoli, designs are made on the floor or a tabletop using items like powdered lime stone, red ochre, dry rice flour, coloured sand, coloured quartz powder, flower petals, and coloured rocks. There were 12 entrants; Lingaraju of HRISH took first place, with Advytha from Surana College coming in second.

Treasure Hunt The concept of a treasure hunt—looking for lost treasure—has always been thrilling and daring. Participants in a treasure hunt work in small groups to locate the prize using the provided clues. The winning team is the one who cracks the code and locates the treasure first. 42 teams were present. Padmapriya and her team from Surana College won this competition, and Adarsh and his team from DSATM finished in second place.

Face Painting The practise of painting or sketching decorations on someone's face as a kind of ornamentation beautiful design went into the faces. 12 individuals took part. Simra from the same college finished in second place, and Sneha from Nruthyanga University took first place

Photography, using your photographic skills, you can use the technique of creative photography to blend various shapes, colours, and forms of everyday situations to create works of art. This kind of photography necessitates an original perspective on reality as well as the ability to portray an original, changed image. There were 14 contestants, and Ritesh from Surana College was the winner.

Group dance is the rhythmic movement of a group of people, usually to music and in a set area, for the aim of expressing a concept or emotion, letting off steam, or just enjoying the movement itself. There were 14 teams from various colleges, each performing a distinct dance style, such as katha, punjabi, western, hip-hop, and others. St. Joseph's College took first place, with VVN College coming in second.

Battle of the Bands is a music contest and music competition in which two or more bands compete for the title of 'best band'. The winner is determined by a voice vote of the audience or the band who brings the most people to support them. Traditionally, battles of bands are held at live music events and forums. There were 4 teams. The winner of the event was AMC College

Fashion shows help in creating interest among the public to spread awareness about new arrivals in design and style. These shows help to draw public attention. Fashion marketing scrutinises fashion trends, coordinate sales and promote goods. It is necessary to grant exposure to various trends and styles of clothing. Participants were dressed in various different styles and were looking beautiful. There were 8 teams which participated in the event. The winner was Jyothi Nivas college and runner was Surana College.

Beatboxing (also known as beat boxing) is a style of vocal percussion that largely involves the imitation of drum machines using the mouth, lips, tongue, and voice, usually a TR-808. Additionally, various musical instruments and vocal turntablism mimicry may be used. There were 4 people present. Pranav from SGPTA was the winner and Vishnu from CMR College was the runner.
