The finance club of DSBA, conducted two events as a part of Sagara Taranga, under the title Vittha Taranga. The events were a great success in the 2 day fest.
The first event prashna taranga (general quiz) began with an inauguration ceremony by lighting the lamp. Dr Veena K N, Principal of DSBA and Dr Sahana Madan, HOD of MBA, DSATM graced the occasion and addressed the participants with their inspiring words. The first round began with great enthusiasm where the rules and regulations were explained. Participants had to answer 101 questions in 40 minutes. The second round contained around 20 multiple choice questions, the next round tested the analogy skills of participants, the fourth round contained fill ups as direct questions. The scores of all the four rounds was considered along with their time management to pick the top teams for the final round- a mega quiz on Day 2. All the participants thoroughly enjoyed the rounds and learnt some facts about the current affairs and sharpened their logical reasoning. The event concluded with feedback of participants and sharing of the answers.
The second event bhavishya taranga (digital presentation) began with the introduction of the judges, the eminent personalities Dr. Praveen Kumar Sinha and Dr Divya U. The participants presented their PPTs on how can India achieve $5 trillion Indian Economy by using sustainable ways by 2030. The judges questioned the able participants and made them ponder of different projects that can be taken up. Principal of DSBA, Dr Veena K N joined us on the occasion and provided her valuable gyi to the young minds. The competition concluded with appreciative feedback from the judges and principal mam.
Token of gratitude was presented to the judges. The event ended with a lot of important takeaways.
The final round of the quiz began with great pomp. The quiz master Mr Mohammed Umair was introduced to the audience. The quiz show then began and contained 9 unique and amazing rounds. The winners and runners were declared and everyone were congratulated.
