The most awaited Management Fest, Sagara Taranga 2022’ was held in Dayananda Sagar Business Academy on 28th and 29th of July, 2022 in the most befitting manner. It was a two-day programme full of cultural, academic and sports events. The fest was attended by a number of different colleges who showed their active participation and enthusiasm in all the activities.
The Literary Club events are Sagar Talkies (short film making), Abhivyakta Taranga (dumb charades), Bhasha Taranga (pick and speak) and Mouna Taranga(Mime). The events started on 28th July and the final rounds of the events took place on the second day, i.e., the 29th of July. Prizes were distributed among the participants who performed well in the function.
Six colleges had registered for the event of Sagar Talkies (short film making), out of which HRIHE College of Hassan won the first place while Shashank Vijaya College were the runners up. Abhivyakta Taranga (dumb charades) were registered by 16 colleges and a tough competition was observed in this event. HRIHE College of Hassan proved themselves again by winning the first place in Abhivyakta Taranga. DSATM came as the runners up. Bhasha Taranga (pick and speak) had a total of 28 registrations from different colleges where Tom from St. Joseph College won and Krishna from SSRVM got the runners up.
The on stage cultural events of dance, singing, stand-up comedy and rap battle observed a lot of participation and engaged a whole lot of audience keeping them entertained. Some famous figures like Rahul Dito, Rakesh Adiga and Sharmiela Mandre were also present during the event.
The event was a huge success and revealed many aspects of their skills and ability before the audience. The organizers were highly appreciated for their hard work and dedication of a long time.
