RASHTRIYA EKTHA DIWAS
The Rashtriya Ektha Diwas was conducted on 31st oct 2022. RASHTRIYA EKTHA DIWAS is also known as NATIONAL UNITY DAY. It was introduced by the govt of INDIA in 2014. The day celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of India’s first Home Minister SARDAR VALLABHBHAI PATEL also known as the iron man of India, who had a major role in the political integration of India.
The official statement for National Unity Day by the home ministry of India cites that the National Unity Day “will provide an opportunity to re-affirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity and security of our country.”
We NCC Cadets of Dayananda Sagar Business Academy celebrated Rashtriya Ektha Diwas by conducting Unity Run around the campus under the guidance of our ANO LT. NAGARAJU. The run was taken place from 8:00am to 9:20am. The dress code for the above event was NCC tracks. Totally around 26 Cadets actively participated in the event with high josh and enthusiasm.
