Orientation on Campus Placements

“Orientation on Campus Placements”, a workshop where the resource person, Mrs. Savitha gave a brief description on the campus placement opportunities that are available and applicable for all branches of final year students.

The speaker ‘Mrs. Savitha’, is a experienced placement officer with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Skilled in Lecturing, Interpersonal Skills, Campus Placement, Recruiting and Human Resources.

Mrs. Savitha began the orientation by addressing the audience on the types of sectors or designation one can secure after their graduation. She gave an insight description on Job and Career, How one gets a job, and How Hard and Soft skills play a major role for achieveing the desired career.

In addition, she stated the options available in Government Sector, the implementation of Placement Policy which enables each one of the individuals to procure the opportunity of placements offered by the campus, Placement Requisites.

Furthermore, giving additional details on Do’s and Don’ts while filing the placement google forms, Virtual Interviews Do’s and Don’ts, the etiquettes one should follow during the interview process and the essentials to be prepared for an online assessment.

Along with these, she also provided the list of companies that will be visiting our campus in the upcoming days.

Mrs. Savitha concluded the orientation by advising the students to register themselves to the job offers according to their suitability and relevance.

At the end of the workshop, the speaker was honored with a memento by the faculty on behalf of Dayananda Sagar Business Academy.
