Dayananda Sagar Business Academy Organised a Faculty Development Program on Presentation Skills in a Classroom on 22nd October 2022 and the resource person was Dr.Revanayya, Assistant Professor at Dayananda Sagar Business Academy.

The FDP started with VARK model. One of the most accepted understandings of learning styles is that student learning styles fall into three categories: Visual Learners, Auditory Learners and Kinesthetic Learners. These learning styles are found within educational theorist Neil Fleming’s VARK model of Student Learning. By understanding what kind of learner, the students are, one can gain a better perspective on how to implement these learning styles into your lesson plans and study techniques. SWOT (Study without Tears) Strategies were also highlighted for different learning styles.

Next interaction on basic presentation framework and overcoming anxiety carried on with the faculty members and action plan for improving presentation skills discussed followed by suggestions for effective class conduct.

The FDP ended with Q and A session
