On 22nd October 2022 Students of 1st Year BBA underwent a workshop on Outcome Based Education (Learning) by Dr.Veena K.N. About 55 students attended the workshop and all of them enjoyed the session.
Dr.Veena K.N , holds a Doctorate from Mysore University and she is presently working as a Principal of Dayananda Sagar Business Academy.
The Resource Person started the workshop with the Objectives of the course and then the session moved on to Cource Outcomes (CO), Program Outcomes (PO) and Program Specific Outcomes (PSO).
The Course objective describes what a faculty member will cover in a course. They are generally less broder than desirable goals and more broder than student learning outcomes. Where as Outcome is a detailed description of what a student must be able to do at the conclusion of a course.
The session was conducted in order to make the students understand why they are expected to attend the Multiple choice question at the end of every semester and how they are being evaluated and how they help in attaining the course, Program and Program specific outcomes.
