PRE RDC ,IGC CAMP - l

PRE RDC, IGC CAMP -I 2022

The 1kar battalion conducted the Pre RDC, IGC camp -1 at Silicon City Academy Of Secondary Education from 03th October to 10th October 2022.This camp was mainly held to train cadets for RDC cadets. Close to 400 cadets attended the camp. Cadets from other battalion participated were been part of camp. All the necessary precautionary measures were taken and camp was conducted adhering to the covid- 19 guidelines.

We reported at the camp site at 1:30 pm on day, The activity for the first day was document verification and biometric process on completion of which we were

assigned respective rooms in the barrack We had lunch and tea breaks in the middle. The roll call parade was conducted at 6:00 pm.

Throughout the camp a standard and strict routine was followed everyday we had to fall in at 5:40 A.M sharp for the P.T wherein we had to jog for thus increasing our stamina. We then had breakfast and some spare time to get into our uniforms for the parade for the selection from 8:30-11a.m.

The RDC selection has two divisions ‘drill’ and ‘cultural’ . The drill has sub divisions i.,e Rajpath, Best cadet, PM rally . The cultural included all the cultural activities and flag area. Based on the interest of cadets they were supposed to take part in the division which are they good at . All the selection took place under the guidance of 1 Kar battalion.

From DSBA CQMS Hemashree P, SGT Charitha M, LPCL Jayanth Reddy M represented in this camp. Finally at last those who got selected in the selection process will represent the further camps.
